Which Deliverable Fits?

Where this comes from. Matching a format to an audience, a reach, and a goal is the practical core of knowledge translation: deciding what to share, with whom, and how (Lavis and colleagues, 2003). This tool applies that idea to court communications. The formats, reach, length, and illustration-to-text ratio come from the delivery-formats tree (Figure 2), and the audience subgroups (novice through funder) from Figure 3, in Lindsey Wylie's "Cultivating a Court's Data STORY," NCSC Trends in State Courts (2025), with seven formats added from practice; each format's detail names its source. Those subgroups follow Tabak and colleagues (2013) in dissemination science, and the objectives the Conference of State Court Administrators (2024), while the storytelling method draws on Duarte, Nussbaumer Knaflic, and Segel and Heer. The mapping of which format suits which audience and objective is a starting point meant to be argued with, not a verdict.
